I got the bag last November. One of the hooks holding the strap broke in May (I was able to jury rig it together so it was functional but less comfortable), and the other one in August. This was not with heavy use - it goes to work and home.

So far so good, big laptops fit easily, nicely padded, very nice passport/document compartment. Comfortable on the shoulder.Only minor issue - is not stable when sitting on top of the rolling carryon of the same series - but that's really minor

Quality:I just got it today so I can't say how durable this product will be. However, from the look of it the build quality seem excellent. It's look tougher than the Oakley backpack that I currently own (even though Oakley haven't fail me yet in the past two year. The reason I change is because Oakley can't hold 17.3" laptop). The hook for the shoulder strap is made out of metal. The zipper is big and also made out of metal. The handle and four corner on bottom of the bag is leather(or leather like material).Appearance:This product is a very handsome bag the picture here doesn't do its justice. I have a very professional look. The black exterior of the bag show a sharp contrast of the red fabric interior. The lining of the bag is also red. The zipper holder have a rubber finish.Protection:Since it's a xenon series, the bottom of the laptop compartment have 'the patent pending shock absorber ABS foam' to protect your laptop. However, there is no ABS foam on the side and the top of the bag. Meaning there is less protection on that side of your laptop.I definitely like this bag. Even though it have less protection on its side and top side. This bag still has a better protection compare to all the bag and backpack I saw on BestBuy, Walmart, Target, and Sam Clue. The brand I saw on those store are Swiss Gear, FUL, Targus, Belkin, and some other brand that I didn't recognize.
