இ Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:ѾѾѾѾ Recommended with warm fuzzies.Samsonite's Bright Lites series comes in three sizes: 20", 24", and 29". I purchased the 24" 'Azzurra Blue' color specifically because it would stand out more amongst the sea of black luggage on the baggage claim conveyor belts. For some reason, the glossy blue styling of the luggage reminds me of the hood of a classic vintage car like a 1957 Chevy :-) It looks more vintage than futuristic/modern to me. Hardside polycarbonate luggage like this can soon end up looking all scratched up after a few trips, so do not become too enamored with its glossy color. The luggage was shipped with a thin plastic film wrap firmly covering nearly all of its body except for openings in the plastic wrap for where the handles and wheels stick out. I am leaving this plastic wrap on my luggage in the hopes that the plastic wrapping provides a little modicum of extra protection from scratches. So far, so good... but I fully expect that there will come a day when the lovely paint job will look very beat up.ѾѾѾѾѾ Excellent 5-fuzzies feature ratings:ѾѾѾѾѾ The four nimble spinner wheels make it a breeze to whisk this luggage around the house, airport, or sidewalk with hardly any effort.ѾѾѾѾѾ The luggage comes with a built-in TSA-approved combination lock that secures both metal zipper pulls into the locking mechanism. I sometimes pack really dense, full, and heavy loads into my luggage, which has worn out zippers in previous luggage before, but so far, the zipper on this luggage is holding up!ѾѾѾ Average not-good not-bad 3-fuzzies feature ratings:ѾѾѾ Both the 20" and 24" Bright Lites models come with elastic cross-straps that buckle in the middle on one side of the luggage, and netting that loosely secures with two buckles on the other side of the luggage. The 29" Bright Lites model comes with a fully enclosed zip-around compartment on one side instead of the loosely buckled netting that is on the 20" and 24" models. I would have MUCH rather preferred that Samsonite provide a fully-zipped-and-enclosed compartment on their 20" and 24" Bright Lites too. Hardside luggage already tends to be very lacking in their use of multiple compartments, and with the 29" model having a fully-zipped compartment side, that allows less potential shifting/tumbling of the contents compared with my 24" Bright Lites. This can be somewhat minimized by carefully packing full layers into both sides of the luggage, but I am subtracting one entire star from this rating because, unlike their 29" model, the 24" model does not have a fully-zip-enclosed compartment and I really dislike the flap of netting that is buckled for that one side of the luggage. That flap is too flimsy and it really needs to be made larger to adequately secure the various contents on that side of the luggage. So I envy the fully-zipped compartment side that is on the 29" model, even though the 29" model was too big for my needs.Note that at the time of this review writing, one of the product images for the 'Samsonite Bright Lites 24 Inches Spinner' on Amazon's site may show the luggage opened up and displaying a fully-zipper-enclosed compartment. But this is misleading since Samsonite only offers a fully-zipper-enclosed compartment on their 29" model of Bright Lites, and not on their 20" or 24" models.

I love the quality of this piece of luggage as well as the bright colors that are available! The built in lock is wonderful - no more searching for my security lock and keeping up with tiny keys! The luggage rolls easily even with a heavy load!

Withstood an international trip to Korea. Meets the size requirements for international travel and you can put a lot of stuff inside, and still be under the weight requirement. An excellent suitcase for the money, and the wheels certainly help when it's a heavy load. The security lock is also an added bonus. The bright colors are excellent for spotting your suitcase amongst all the other baggage.I was hoping to get this as a gift but since I purchased these suitcases 2 months ago the price has gone up 44 dollars! I guess they have become popular!
