I will start by saying that I only give 5 stars to something that blows my mind. Period. That having been said, this is a really good buy, especially for what I spent (it was on sale). Construction seems sound, as I have used it to carry 3-4 heavy programming textbooks back and forth from work every day. Every few days, I will also toss in a few 18.9 fl oz Gatorade bottles and some V8 cans along with the books. Even with this weight, the shoulder strap seems to be holding up fine. The leather doesn't seem to scuff easily, although I haven't actually scraped it on anything with any amount of force yet. The briefcase really seems like it will last at least a few years. Overall, it is well above average as briefcases go, and an especially good buy if you get it on sale.

I bought this laptop travel bag for the occasional business trip but when it arrived, it was a little smaller than I had anticipated. Ok for an average size laptop but when you add in accessories (i.e. charger, mouse, hot-spot, etc.) it gets a little tight.

This bag works great for what I needed: A nice looking, compact shoulder bag to carry my laptop and a binder of documents, along with pens, & accessories. I can even fit the tupperware container with my lunch in it, although it is a tight fit. I haven't had any problems with the construction quality of this item, and am happy with how it looks.The only drawback I could see is if someone were looking for something with a little more room bulk-wise. Basically, the bag is designed for fairly thin things to be put into it, so if you have an object that is wider than 3 inches, it's not going to fit very well, and will affect any of the other things you have in the bag.A nice byproduct of this bag's design is that the handles for the bag are designed to curl inward toward each other. That way, you don't have to fumble to get both handles together if your other hand is occupied already in order to pick the bag up. Another nice advantage of this feature is that it's great for holding a coffee thermos/sealed cup while the bag is on your shoulder. The handles curl in nicely to secure the container, cradling it and freeing up your other hand for whatever else you need to carry.
