Remember, folks: the maximum carry-on bag dimensions for most airlines is 22" long x 14" wide x 9" tall (total 45 inches). This Samsonite duffle is 22" x 13" x 12.5" (total 47.5 inches). The bag is unstructured so you might squeeze it in the overhead bin only if you underfill the bag.

Love this bag, I carries everything I need for a week on the road and seems to be taking the abuse I put it through (toss into cab, wedge into overhead bin, bounce off hotel bed...). The longer handle is a lifesaver, at 6' 7" its the first thing I need in luggage (short handles lead to hunchback walking). This handle is perfect length and the carrying straps are idealy positioned. If you've ever had to shift from rolling to carrying while running up an escalator in the airport this is the bag for it).

Fantastic product, surprising space for everything, especially clothes. Superb for extra bag on long haul flight SF - Sydney - Adelaide, lightweight, soft, and therefore not damaged by rough handling. Couldn't recommend it more than I do....
