I have put some very heavy travel on this over the last six months and I've got to say, it is a great case. It is a pleasure to not get tennis elbow dragging a stuffed suitcase behind me. Rather, I just leave this one standing up and smoothly push it beside me. Initially, it seemed a little flimsy (the hard plastic side is thin) but it is actually quite durable. That is to say that on over thirty travel legs, the airlines haven't yet figured out how to kill it. The TSA lock is easy to use and as effective as any luggage lock. Exterior zippers are heavy duty and don't jam. Interior zippers seem a little light weight but have not yet failed. The case itself is light weight and the wheels are really quite sturdy. I recommend this bag.

The suitcase was smaller and more light weight than the same model it replaced. I have taken it on a very demanding trip and it survived just fine. I do like the added feature where youcan zip both sides of the suitcase closed which eliminates clothes spilling out when it is opened and closed. The new wheels seem to perform much better by rolling a full suitcase at a much easire pace. All in all a very good suitcase!

I purchased two of these pieces of luggage, both identical, in January of this year for a trip to Bangkok. I liked the size, the fact that it could be rolled, and also that it had the universal TOS lock. The luggage zippers snap into the TOS locking assembly, and when redialed to your settings (each of the three dials has a number), they will pop out of the lock with a squeeze from both sides, thus allowing you to easily open your luggage; good idea. Unfortunately, when I arrived in my hotel room in Bangkok, I found that one of the TOS lock assemblies had been nearly completely sheared from the case and was hanging by a thread, though still attached. At first I wondered if the TOS people had a problem opening it and couldn't, so they just tried to hammer it open with a direct blow to the protruding lock. Fortunately, the dials and the release mechanisms on the side of the lock still worked when I tried to open the luggage otherwise I would have had to break the luggage "skin" open (see below). On my return flight, I didn't use the locks, of course, because the TOS lock was no longer attached to the lock assembly because I had removed what remained hanging (and I couldn't be sure what had been hanging there might not be completely sheared off, leaving TOS with no other alternative to open the luggage except shear force with vengeance?). The piece of luggage with the sheared TOS lock arrived safely in Los Angeles but then, when I got home, I noticed that the remaining piece of luggage had an impact crack on it. What to do? Nothing. I eat the cost of both pieces of luggage (over five hundred bucks) because after spending four months in Thailand, the return option has expired. Save your money! These pieces of luggage would be better distributed FREE! as samples rather than something that you need to pay multiple dollars for... and then you even take a risk that your travel items will arrive safely in these boxes with wheels. "I CAN'T GET NO, SATISFACTION!" was maybe what the Stones were singing about?!!! Not sure, but now I'm going to have to spend another five hundred dollars (or more?) to get something that is travel-worthy in both strength and design... leaving little more dollars for travel. Leave this luggage where it belongs; with Amazon or the resellers that sell it here! unless it drops below thirty? bucks with FREE SHIPPING. It is, after all, better than cardboard boxes...
