This is a good looking bag, but once I started using it the shoddy construction quickly became evident. The exterior scratches easily, which was frustrating but tolerable. The shoulder strap pad is just the vinyl covering and some foam padding- the strap does not go through it. That became rather evident when I put it on my shoulder with about 15 pounds of weight and the pad broke in half, about 6 months after I bought it. Even before then, stitching was giving way at structural points and the pad was torn in other places- all from regular point A to point B movement. It may look nice, with the manageable number of pockets and lack of a flap, but find another bag.

We bought this for our son, who is in high school, to replace a similar one that had lasted him a year and a half. In less than a month, the shoulder strap broke, and now the hand-carry handles both broke at the same time. He started using it the second week in January, and it isn't even the end of March yet. Needless to say, we replaced it with another brand.
